Superbowl Chili Recipe

This delicious chili is the ultimate game day chili and ideal for tail gate or superbowl parties.

2 tablespoons organic olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds free-range beef, ground
1 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3-4 tablespoons organic chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 large cans organic chopped tomatoes
2 16 ounce cans dark red kidney beans, drained

Serve with: hot sauce, chopped scallions, sour cream

In a heavy stockpot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and saute until soft and fragrant. Add beef and salt and cooked until beef is browned throughout. Add chili powder, cumin, Worcestershire sauce and tomatoes. Bring to a slow boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Add kidney beans. Cook 30 -45 minutes or until chili is thick. Serve is bowls and top with hot sauce, sour cream and scallions.
